Mad Dog, Peter and Brendan Mayer to perform live at Hazards on Middle Bass Island, OH
We can not begin to tell of our excitement for what is about to take place on the St. Hazards‘ intimate, outside pavilion Saturday, June 22 and on Sunday, June 23.
“It will be extra special to have one of the long time members of Jimmy Buffet’s Coral Reefer Band on Middle Bass Island,” anticipates St. Hazards’ owner and developer Ed Gudenas. “With Mad Dog on Saturday and Peter on Sunday, this could be the best music of the season on Middle Bass. This is a must-be part of weekend.”
To begin the festivities DJ B Groovy of the band Doofuss will start spinnin’ tonight, Friday, June 21 at 10 p.
Then, on Saturday, Mike “Mad Dog” Adams will set up on the stage imported from Bali. This is a free show.
On Sunday, the blenders will start whirling and the commotion will culminate at 3 pm eastern time when a long time member of Jimmy Buffet’s Coral Reefer Band steps a sandal on stage to entertain islanders, guests, day trippers, employees and boaters with some sweet songwriters’ psalms. Peter Mayer, who has performed for years with the legend, will delight ticket holders and VIP guests with the accompaniment of his son Brendan Mayer.
The duo, as well as everyone onboard at Hazards, is ecstatic to be on the island surrounded by the select sound; and also, surrounded by the fresh, glacial waters of Lake Erie for the initial start to Summer 2024.
Patrons do need to purchase tickets for admittance to the Mayer concert.
Again, admittance to the Mad Dog show is free.
Accommodations to stay the night are sold out. However, St. Hazards always has the green space to accommodate tent campers.
Gear must be brought over via the Miller Boatline.
Hazards will be running a shuttle bus all weekend (per usual) and guests are welcome to ferry from South Bass Island on the Sonny-S Boatline.
